Head of Communications

at Corgi Insurance

About Corgi

Corgi is a full-stack insurance carrier building better, faster insurance products from the ground up. We're not a broker: we design, underwrite, price, and issue policies directly, with fewer handoffs and less friction. Insurance is the largest unautomated industry in financial services, and we're rebuilding it using AI. We've raised $374M from Kindred, TCV, and others to do so.

The Role

We’re hiring a Head of Communications to build and lead Corgi's external and internal communications strategy as the company scales.

This role sits at the intersection of narrative, brand, and growth. You'll partner closely with leadership to shape how Corgi shows up in the market (through press, product launches, executive visibility, and company milestones) and make sure our voice is as sharp and differentiated as our product.

You should be excited by fast-moving launches and storytelling to help define how an entire industry gets rebuilt.

What You'll Do

  • Own Corgi's overall communications and PR strategy, from press relationships to executive positioning.
  • Lead comms planning for major company moments.
  • Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, and industry press.
  • Partner with leadership to develop executive thought leadership and public presence.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong judgment
  • Excellent writing skills
  • 10+ years of experience in communications, PR, corporate communications, or a related field
  • A track record of landing press coverage and shaping narrative for high-growth companies
  • Experience with executive communications and building leadership visibility.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-growth environments.

Why Join Corgi

  • Direct partnership with company leadership.
  • Competitive salary + equity package.
  • High-impact, company-shaping work.
  • A chance to help reinvent insurance.
