POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Process Engineering Technician is responsible for analyzing and managing sample flow from experiments on 3D laser powder bed fusion systems in development at Velo3D. Samples will come from a wide range of sources within the organization including process engineering, applications, manufacturing, and field service escalations. External sources of samples to be managed include customer and partner samples. Internal analysis and sample shipment for external analysis will be directly managed, performed, and tracked by the Process Engineering Technician. This position will report directly to the Director of Process Engineering.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting hourly rate for this full-time position is $29 to $40 per hour. This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position in the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience, job-related skills, related education, work location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. In addition to a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and equity program, as applicable.
