This is a non-merit, temporary position. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise. The hourly wage for this position is $39.04-$60.04. The Iowa Veterans Home is looking to fill a temporary Pharmacist to assist the state. This is a non-merit position working approximately 15 hours a week up to 780 hours a fiscal year. Duties include functioning as a dispensing pharmacist independently in all required areas of pharmacy (computer input, filling and checking orders, compounding, IV preparation, answering telephones).
