Junior AIT Engineer for Galileo [25135]

As part of the AIT Department, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of functional tests in AIT satellite programs
  • Support in reviewing and creating test specifications
  • Support in defining, creating, developing, and executing test procedures
  • Definition, development, implementation, and debugging of test scripts
  • Support for electrical integration activities
  • Preparation and configuration of test systems for performing satellite tests/instrument tests
  • Preparation, evaluation of test data, and assessment vis-à-vis the customer
  • Documentation of test results and writing of test reports
  • Support for the operation of the satellite/instrument
  • Support for the analysis of the satellite configuration and its documentation
  • Support for error analysis (NCR investigation)

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German is an advantage
  • Initial experience in the field of functional satellite AIT is required.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems required.
  • Knowledge of: ECSS standards, satellite communication, link encryption, TM/TC (PUS) for satellites/instruments is a plus
