Veterinarian Responsibilities & Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • Strong foundation in preventive care and wellness medicine
  • Experience or interest in general surgery and general dentistry
  • Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced small animal practice
  • Excellent communication and client education skills
  • Passion for providing compassionate, high-quality animal care
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Current (or eligible) U.S. veterinary licensure preferred

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications
    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
    • Active Texas veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain).
    • 5+ years of veterinary practice experience preferred.
    • Proven leadership and management skills with emotional intelligence and professionalism.
    • Strong commitment to ethical practice and clinical excellence.
    • Ability to delegate effectively, communicate clearly, and inspire your team.
