Summary/objective
Supervise and ensure the safety of children as they transition and travel between Youth Programs and Swim Lessons.

Position Summary
The Aquatics Swim Lesson Transport supports the swim lesson program by supervising children as they travel to and from swim lessons and assisting with lesson transitions. This role ensures children are safely escorted from their program groups, supervised during transportation, and safely monitored when changing after lessons. The position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, organized, and positive swim lesson experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
Child Supervision & Transitions
- Escort children from their assigned groups to the aquatics facility for swim lessons.
- Monitor children as they change into and out of swim attire before and after lessons (if applicable).
- Ensure children are ready for lessons when instructors begin.
Transportation Supervision
- Ride with children on the bus to and from the swim lesson location (if applicable).
- Ensure the children’s behavior is safe and appropriate during transportation.
- Conduct headcounts before departure, upon arrival, and during transitions.
Program Support
- Escort children back to their original program groups following lessons.
- Ensure children change back into appropriate clothing before returning to their group.
- Communicate any concerns, incidents, or behavioral issues to aquatics leadership.
