Global Cohort Associate

PURPOSE
The Global Cohort Associate will assist in facilitating the Resonate Global Mission Cohort program and support its network of alumni. The primary responsibilities of this position include communications, program management, and mentoring. The Global Cohort Associate will be tasked with effectively conveying the nature and value of Resonate Global Mission's ministries, vision, and values to the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) and beyond. Additionally, this role will involve participating in fundraising efforts for missionary support and relevant projects.
This position is located in Hungary and is a full-time role at 30 hours per
week with a duration of 1 year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following

Support the Cohort Europe director in organizing and attending regular meetings and intensives, as well as managing and evaluating the program.

Assist Cohort directors from all regional programs in developing a coherent, unified global alumni network that offers ongoing educational and faith development opportunities for participants beyond their one-year involvement in the programs.

Develop and expand virtual and in-person opportunities for Cohort program alumni to continue to grow in faith, cultural competence, and understanding.

Advertise Resonate Cohort programs on Resonate Global Mission social media platforms to invite young leaders to join Cohort globally.

Enhance and develop new and effective recruitment strategies for broad global applicant pools.

Mentor current participants in the Europe Cohort and grow Cohort partnerships.

Help deepen the mission to raise a new generation of leaders who humbly serve our communities.
Service to North America

Participate in support-raising (e.g., prayer, care, and financial support) for Resonate Global Mission’s ministries by developing and maintaining a network of supporting churches and individuals in North America.

Educate the CRCNA and others about the nature of the global church and its mission, encouraging them to develop a deeper passion and involvement in global missions.

Provide the CRCNA with insight and resources for ministry among minority groups living in North America.

Communicate the nature and impact of Resonate Global Mission’s ministries to the CRCNA and others through written communications and preaching/speaking engagements

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE:
**QUALIFICATIONS **
- Professing membership in a Christian Reformed congregation, or of a church in communion with the CRCNA, and agreement with the doctrine of the church signified by signing a covenant statement.
- Intermediate experience in developing support networks and fundraising initiatives.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, accommodating diverse perspectives.
- Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in commonly used computer applications.
- Capable of planning and organizing tasks and responsibilities, including multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
- Basic experience in communicating ideas to a diverse group of ministry supporters and participants.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in theology, business, communications, or related field is required.
- Advanced experience in program management and development is required.
- Experience with young adults in cross-cultural young adult Christian ministry is an asset.
