DWC Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Install Project Manager to join our growing Construction team in Amherst, NY.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As an Install Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple commercial HVAC installation projects from planning through completion while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet DWC's high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial HVAC installation projects simultaneously from kickoff through project closeout.
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to maintain project timelines.
- Order materials, equipment, and project components at least four days in advance to support field operations.
- Monitor project progress daily and maintain accurate job schedules and production updates.
- Prepare and maintain daily project reports, documentation, and job cost tracking.
- Communicate project updates, field conditions, change orders, and scheduling adjustments to leadership.
- Collaborate with field supervisors, technicians, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify and resolve project issues proactively while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Ensure projects comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA requirements.
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive operational excellence across the construction team.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC project management, field supervision, or installation management experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and installation practices.
- Experience managing project schedules, manpower, materials, and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of job costing, project budgeting, and construction documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain if required).
- Ability to safely navigate active construction job sites and lift up to 100 pounds when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial mechanical contractors.
- Familiarity with construction management software and project scheduling platforms.
- Experience managing projects in healthcare, industrial, education, manufacturing, or commercial facilities.
- Strong customer relationship and leadership skills.
