Data Centre Construction Supervisor

UGL is expanding its Data Centre business and is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of some of Australia's most significant data centre projects in Melbourne.

Working within UGL's integrated delivery model alongside CPB Contractors, you'll play a key role in overseeing site-based construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safe, high-quality project delivery across critical infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day construction activities across data centre projects.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and productivity across assigned work fronts.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, permits, and project procedures.
  • Coordinate site interfaces between subcontractors, project teams, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Identify and resolve construction issues, risks, and programme impacts.
  • Support commissioning and handover activities to achieve operational readiness.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and drive high-performance project outcomes.

About You

  • Trade qualification with relevant tertiary studies highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience supervising subcontractors on data centre or large-scale Commercial fit outs (eg hospitals, defence, stadiums).
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality assurance, and site safety requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholder interfaces.
  • Experience delivering complex projects within live or fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
