💼 Position Overview
We are hiring a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our front desk team.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in veterinary reception, medical front desk, or customer service , who thrives in a busy animal hospital or emergency setting.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting our veterinarians and technicians through scheduling, communication, and administrative coordination.
🕒 Schedule (Part-Time Availability)
- Monday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Must be available for evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism (in person and over the phone)
- Schedule appointments and manage a high-volume veterinary calendar
- Answer multi-line phones and handle client inquiries efficiently
- Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate documentation
- Process payments, invoices, and medical records
- Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk
- Handle sensitive or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Medical Receptionist, or Front Desk Coordinator
- Strong customer service and client communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary or emergency environment
- Basic computer skills; experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus
- Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
