What you’ll do
Our ideal candidate is not only experienced in civil engineering but also
possesses a preference for tackling challenges in transportation, private
development, stormwater or hydraulic modeling. You’ll make crucial decisions
independently, find innovative solutions and plan and coordinate projects. As
a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll make independent decisions and will thrive
under pressure. You’ll also:
- Plan and coordinate work.
- Apply standard engineering practices and techniques.
- Adjust and correlate data.
- Recognize discrepancies and follow standard procedures.
- Build relationships with clients.
- Work effectively under tight deadlines.
What it takes
Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
If you have five or more years of experience in civil design and project
management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. You
should be a licensed professional engineer or demonstrate the ability to
secure licensure shortly after starting employment. Ideally, you will also:
- Speak and write well.
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Be a team player.
