Position Summary:
AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Grand Forks, North Dakota that produces composite "fiberglass" parts such as Wings, Fuselages, Horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. We are looking for experienced Manufacturing / Production Technicians who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
The Manufacturing / Production Technician will have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in a fast-paced team environment, be dependable, possess attention to detail and must have a basic ability to use, or learn to use a computer to access electronic data & software.
Essential Functions:
- Fabricates composite parts using hands and machinery.
- Prepares tooling and performs necessary maintenance.
- Cuts and trims various manufacturing materials.
- Operates oven.
- Inspects and installs aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and composite parts.
- Follows engineering drawings and specifications to install, connect, or bond aircraft parts using adhesives, rivets, or threaded fasteners.
- Ensures fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance complies with design requirements.
- Prepares and uses fixtures to aid in locating, bonding, or drilling aircraft parts.
- Routes wire harnesses in accordance with specifications.
