Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end quality strategies for robot manufacturing, from subassemblies to full systems

Conduct PFMEA to identify failure modes and enhance test coverage and process robustness

Work with test and firmware engineers to integrate quality checks into manufacturing workflows

Analyze test data to monitor station yields and identify root causes of failures

Collaborate with design teams to implement quality improvements at both component and system levels

Lead Design of Experiments (DOE) to establish optimized pass/fail limits and improve test accuracy

Evaluate test station performance and scalability across different production sites

Document quality plans, testing procedures, and data-driven corrective actions

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field

3+ years of experience in electromechanical hardware testing in a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with PCBA testing, IMU calibration, actuator and sensor validation, or end-of-line system testing

Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Gage R&R, and statistical data analysis

Experience working with test hardware (e.g. power supplies, CAN tools, actuators) in production environments

Self-starter with strong time management skills and attention to detail

Proficient in technical documentation and cross-functional communication

Nice to have: experience with autonomous or humanoid robotic systems; exposure to scalable test systems across multiple manufacturing sites; background in startup or fast-paced hardware development environments

Salary Range: $90,000 – $150,000
