the business of enterprise applications. We work hard, and we’re serious about
what we do. But we like to have a good time, too. In fact, we run our company

As part of Finance Shared Services, the P2P Strategy & Operations team designs
the infrastructure—processes, programs, and tools—that enables Workday to
procure goods and services seamlessly while maximizing the value of our global
supplier partnerships
About the Role
Workday is looking for a Program Manager, Supplier Management (P3) to support and execute key Supplier Management programs within the P2P Strategy & Operations team. In this role, you will ensure our Supplier Management framework is executed consistently, efficiently, and with clear business impact.
You will be responsible for the ongoing administration and execution of established Supplier Management programs, with a particular focus on the global Supplier Business Review (SBR) framework. This includes managing the SBR cadence, coordinating cross-functional input, preparing supplier performance scorecards and materials, tracking follow-up actions, and helping stakeholders use the process to derive meaningful value from our strategic supplier relationships.
You will collaborate with internal Procurement teams, business stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure Supplier Management routines are well-run, data- driven, and aligned to Workday’s priorities around supplier performance, governance, and value realization.
-
Execute the established Supplier Business Review (SBR) framework across sourcing teams, ensuring meetings are scheduled, prepared, and run in a consistent and high-quality manner.
-
Operationalize Supplier Management programs, focusing on day-to-day administration, tracking, and continuous refinement of execution.
-
Prepare and maintain supplier performance scorecards and related reporting, consolidating data from multiple sources to provide a clear view of supplier performance, risks, and opportunities.
-
Coordinate inputs from category managers, sourcing leads, and business stakeholders to ensure SBR materials and discussions are complete, accurate, and aligned to business objectives.
-
Capture, document, and track supplier-related actions and commitments coming out of SBRs and governance forums, and follow up with owners to ensure progress and closure.
-
Support the administration of supplier governance forums (e.g., SBRs, steering committees), including agenda preparation, content consolidation, logistics, and post-meeting communications.
-
Maintain and continuously improve templates, guidance documents, and playbooks that support Supplier Management routines and help teams derive value from the process.
-
Analyze supplier performance and SBR outcomes to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can drive improved cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk management.
-
Support training and enablement activities to help sourcing teams and stakeholders understand and effectively engage in Supplier Management processes.
About You
You are passionate about driving successful supplier relationships and motivated by making programs work smoothly at scale. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders, timelines, and priorities. You enjoy working with data and frameworks, and you take pride in turning process into tangible supplier and business value.
Basic Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Operations, or Program/Project Management, including exposure to Supplier Management programs or frameworks.
-
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
-
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships across functions and levels.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear materials and facilitate alignment among stakeholders.
-
High proficiency with productivity and data tools (e.g., Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint equivalents), including comfort working with and presenting data.
Other Qualifications
-
Deep understanding of the Source-to-Pay process; experience working in a Procurement organization strongly preferred.
-
Experience with supplier performance management, including scorecards, KPIs, and governance routines (e.g., QBRs, SBRs, steering committees) is a plus.
-
Ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings in a way that is easy for stakeholders to interpret and act on.
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple suppliers, stakeholders, and activities simultaneously.
-
Self-starter who can operate independently within clear direction from program leadership, and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
-
Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership over execution quality and timelines.
Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations @workday.com.
