Fleet & Logistics Support

at Active Adventures

Fleet & Logistics Support (Christchurch)

Peak Season (October–April): Full-time, 40 hours per week
Off-Season (May–September): Part-time, 24 hours per week

Love being the person who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes? Enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and love adventure? This seasonal role could be your perfect fit!

We’re Active Adventures, creating unforgettable trips across New Zealand. Our guides are out leading the adventures, and we need someone at our Christchurch Operations Base making sure our bus fleet, gear, and logistics all run like clockwork.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Keeping our NZ fleet of buses, trailers, and staff cars safe, compliant, and ready to roll
  • Helping guides use our EROAD system and ensuring all vehicle checks are up to date
  • Maintaining and organising guide equipment and trip supplies
  • Coordinating minor repairs and liaising with suppliers for larger ones
  • Jumping on the ops duty phone roster to support guides when they’re on trip
  • Pitching in wherever needed to keep trips running smoothly

What we’re looking for:

  • A hands-on, can-do attitude - happy to roll up your sleeves and muck in
  • Organised and practical with a problem-solving mindset
  • Flexible, reliable, and ready to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Class 2 licence is a big plus as you’ll be moving our buses (Toyota Coasters) and trailers around
  • No need for a long list of qualifications - we value attitude, practical problem-solving, and the ability to get things done above all else.
  • Flexibility is essential, including the ability to work weekends and adapt to varying hours as required.

What you’ll get:

  • Based at our Christchurch Operations Base, this role is full-time (40 hours per week) during peak season (October–April) and part-time (24 hours per week) during the off-season (May–September).
  • Every day is different - variety guaranteed!
  • Be part of a tight-knit, fun-loving team who care deeply about what they do and you must love adventure
  • The satisfaction of knowing you’re a key part of making amazing adventures happen
