Field Engineer

As a Field Engineer, you will have the opportunity to manage and support exciting and challenging construction projects around Florida.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists the project manager with subcontractor procurement.
• Obtain material quotes from suppliers and submit purchase orders for approval.
• Project administration, coordination, and close-out
• Assists the project manager with conducting PM Web project coordination.
• Assists the project team with managing pertinent construction documentation such as submittals, RFI’s, change orders, notifications, and correspondence.
• Strong ability to command daily/ weekly and monthly meetings.
• Project specific meeting minutes.
• Onsite assistance to field team as necessary.
• Provides project specific training.
• Promotes customer relations.
• Promote culture, leadership, and employee development.
• Other duties as assigned.
• This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based on the tasks assigned and may fall outside the normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work may occur during evenings and weekends based on tasks assigned.

Qualifications

• A two-to-four-year degree is preferred, or a high school diploma or equivalent, with proven safety experience.
• You have a working knowledge of manufacturing and construction practices.
• You can work long hours with regular travel.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
