Performs a variety of assignments in support of prosecutorial legal services; provides prosecutorial legal services on selected case; does related work as required. Provides research and preparation in support of major criminal cases; represents the Commonwealth of Virginia in some civil and all criminal cases; e.g. OSHA cases, traffic cases, all misdemeanor cases and some felony cases. Under close supervision, prosecutes traffic, misdemeanor, and selected felony cases in the General District Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court and the Circuit Court.
