The West Virginia Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DCR) is seeking a Probation/Parole Officer 1 for a unique, hybrid, statewide position serving all 55 counties. This statutory role performs entry-level supervisory and investigative work for Parole Services, DCR Prisons/Jails, and the Interstate Compact Office. Responsibilities include providing continuous supervision and counseling to a designated caseload of adult probationers, parolees, and mandatory supervision offenders to assist in their social adjustment.
