As part of DHL Supply Chain – DHL Group’s contract logistics division – the Real Estate Solutions (RES) team powers the growth of our supply chain business by developing state of art warehouse facilities around the globe. RES’s developers deliver multi-customer or dedicated customer buildings in growth markets. We create value thru structured sale-and-leasebacks and future proof building efficiencies.

**This is a hands-on real estate development role within DHL Supply Chain's Real Estate Solutions (RES) team, focused on identifying, securing and delivering future-proof logistics development predominantly across Germany but also in the CEE region and Italy. The role involves land acquisition, development management, financial underwriting and stakeholder engagement along the entire value chain. The successful candidate would be working closely with other RES-team members and with Supply Chain leadership to build and monetize a solid project pipeline that support business growth while delivering strong financial returns. **

**Your key accountabilities include: **

• Source, assess and secure land and development opportunities across Germany, CEE and Italy (other European countries as appropriate).
• Build and execute on a pipeline of logistics development projects.
• Manage development projects from opportunity identification through investment approval.
• Prepare financial underwriting and business cases for submission to investment committee.
• Build and manage relationships with Supply Chain and Business Development teams to align real estate strategy with customer and business needs.
• Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, e.g. brokers, landowners, municipalities, general contractors and investors.
• Collaborate with internal RES functions including Business Development, Construction, Capital Markets, Program Management, Legal and Commercialisation.
• Drive delivery of development projects in line with commercial, financial and strategic objectives.

**What are we looking for from you? **

• Significant experience in commercial real estate development, investment or consultancy.
• Strong track record delivering large-scale logistics and industrial development projects.
• Expertise in land acquisition, development feasibility and financial underwriting.
• Commercially astute with strong business sense and investment analysis capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively across multiple countries and cultures.
• Native German speaker with fluent English; additional European languages are advantageous.
