About the role:
We’re seeking a Cyber Engineer (Identity Governance & Security Operations) to strengthen identity security and support security operations across a complex enterprise environment. This role combines identity governance, security engineering and incident response, playing a key role in improving cyber resilience, governance maturity and operational security outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Monitor, investigate and respond to cyber security incidents and alerts
- Support threat hunting, incident response and forensic investigations
- Design and uplift identity security controls across Active Directory, Entra ID and enterprise applications
- Implement and support IAM, IGA and privileged access management initiatives
- Configure and manage Conditional Access, MFA, PIM/PAM and identity lifecycle processes
- Develop security monitoring, detection use cases and reporting dashboards
- Partner with internal teams and MSSPs to improve security posture and monitoring capability
- Support audit remediation and uplift identity governance frameworks
About you:
You’re a proactive and analytical cyber security professional with a strong foundation in identity and access management and security operations. You bring hands-on experience across Microsoft security technologies and thrive in complex environments, working collaboratively to deliver secure, scalable and compliant outcomes.
- 2–5 years’ experience in cyber security, identity or security operations
- Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and M365 security
- Hands-on exposure to IAM, IGA and/or privileged access management (PIM/PAM)
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Conditional Access and MFA
- Familiarity with incident response, threat analysis and security monitoring
- Scripting or automation skills (e.g. PowerShell) highly regarded
- Relevant certifications such as SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, Security+ or CISSP (desirable)
