*About the role*
As an Electrical Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role fabricating and assembling high-reliability electromechanical systems critical to the next generation of clean energy. This is a fast-paced, high-standards environment where your expertise will directly impact the performance and safety of our technology.
*What you'll do*
Electrical Assembly & Fabrication
- Build and assemble high-quality electromechanical components and wire harnesses
- Follow mechanical drawings and GD&T standards to ensure precise construction
- Use standard tools and electronics equipment (e.g., DMMs, oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies) for builds and testing
Documentation & Process Execution
- Read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics and work instructions
- Document all work clearly and accurately in ERP systems and internal platforms (e.g., Outlook, shop floor systems)
- Assist with first-run production processes and support process improvement efforts
Testing & Quality
- Run tests in HASS/HALT and thermal chambers, report results with precision
- Perform verification of electrical assemblies and identify issues in design or vendor quality
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and accuracy, contributing to a quality-first culture
*Qualifications*
Required
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of professional experience with electronics tools and test equipment
- 2+ years of hands-on experience using mechanical and/or electronics hand tools
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering documentation
Preferred
- Associate’s degree in electronics, electromechanical technology, or related field
- 6+ years of experience working with wire harnesses or flight hardware in production environments
- Familiarity with fast-paced manufacturing or aerospace environments
- Strong attention to detail, self-directed work ethic, and excellent teamwork and communication skills
Physical
- Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, bend, stoop, stretch, and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to distinguish wire and connector color codes
