Full-Time Electrical Instructor - 12 Month
at The New England Theatre Conference
To teach NCCER Core, Electrical Levels 1 and 2, and 3 if needed and to oversee
OSHA 10 classes to both high school and adult students. The instructor will be
responsible for delivering lesson plans, testing students online, and offering
hands on projects for the students while maintaining a safe and productive
learning environment. This person will also help maintain the electrical
equipment and supplies and help to order new supplies as needed.Reasonable

these essential functions.
Deliver instruction using appropriate and various teaching methods.
Maintain and submit accurate academic records to include attendance roster,
and grades.
Maintain appropriate professional relationships and demonstrate courtesy and
respect toward students, including safeguarding confidentiality.
Support student success efforts.
Respond promptly and professionally to communications from students, and
colleagues.
Support and promote the College’s mission and Core Values: respect,
opportunity, helpfulness, integrity, and excellence.
Maintains classroom and lab supplies.
Familiarizes themselves with the Workforce Continuing Education Instructor
Guide.
Meets with Director periodically to discuss class schedules, course outline,
student progress, special needs, and required materials.Minimum of 4 years of
experience in the Electrical field, and some experience in
construction/carpentry.
Computer experience required and teaching experience a plus.
NCCER certified trainer preferred but not required.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff, and
students.
Possess a strong commitment to the mission of community colleges.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.Does this Position
