Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.

Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.

Our Platform Engineers

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform , ensuring reproducibility, security, and automation across environments.

• Develop and support backend services using TypeScript , NestJS , and Node.js , interfacing with MongoDB and Postgres databases to ensure performance and reliability.

• Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS , leveraging services like EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and more to support application and platform needs.

• Build reusable infrastructure modules and internal tooling to empower product engineering teams and improve development velocity.

• Own the full lifecycle of platform features: from design and implementation to monitoring and supporting them in production.

• Work in a globally distributed, 100% remote team with asynchronous workflows and high ownership culture.

You Might Be a Good Fit If

• You’ve worked in high-growth startup environments or similarly fast-paced, agile teams—and possibly launched something on your own.

• You have hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems, with a strong DevOps mindset.

• You’ve built and supported web and backend systems using modern cloud-native tools and frameworks.

• You’re excited by infrastructure as code, automation, and driving platform-level improvements that support other engineering teams.

• You enjoy working deeply on technical systems but also communicate clearly and proactively with the team.

Our Interview Process

We structure interviews around the real-world work you’ll do as a Platform Engineer:

1. Pre-screening assignment (Pull Request) followed by an initial interview.

2. Technical Design Document (TDD) assignment + review interview

3. Final hiring manager interview

We prioritize transparency and practical assessments over theoretical questions, ensuring our process aligns with your strengths and real-world experience.
