Business Development Manager (China Team)

We are looking for an Business Development Manager for our Advertisers Department (China Team)!
Responsibilities:
- Hunt and acquire new Chinese advertisers — prospect, build a sales
pipeline, and close new business to drive revenue growth
- Pitch ad formats (Push, Popunder, In-Page Push, Telegram, Interactive ads)
to prospects; run product demos and guide first campaign launch
- Read campaign performance (CR, CTR, CPA, ROI) to demonstrate platform value
and monetization potential to prospects
- Monitor the Chinese affiliate market, track competitors and vertical
trends, and identify new business opportunities and leads
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Product, Optimization,
Finance to onboard new clients smoothly and hand off mature accounts to the AM
team
- Attend conferences globally to generate leads, meet prospects, and close
deals
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–4 years in BD / Sales at an ad network, affiliate network,
DSP/SSP, or digital advertising company; hands-on new-client acquisition with
direct revenue responsibility
- Languages: Chinese (Mandarin) — native or fluent (C1+); English — B2+ for
global team communication
- Active Sales & Negotiation (core): hunter mindset, proven at outbound
outreach, upsell/cross-sell, negotiating commercial terms, and hitting new-
business targets
- KPI & Numbers Proficiency: strong grasp of CR, CTR, CPA, CPM, CPC, ROI,
eCPM; confident with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and BI
dashboards
- Ad Format Knowledge: Push, In-Page Push, Popunder, Interstitial, Direct
Click, Survey Exit, Native — and their performance across verticals/GEOs
- Verticals: iGaming, Giveaways, Finance, Utilities, E-commerce, Mobile Apps
- Market Knowledge: deep understanding of the Chinese ad market, local
advertiser mindset and business culture; existing network of advertiser
contacts a strong plus; APAC affiliate ecosystem awareness
- Soft Skills: resilience, result-oriented, relationship-building,
multitasking in a fast-paced international environment
