Truck Driver - CDL Class A

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
In addition, Wesco offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans. Additional details about benefits are available here.
Shift: Monday through Friday; range anywhere between 3:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

A Day in The Life of a CDL Truck Driver
As a CDL Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. _*_Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Must have CDL Classification/Certification. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.__
- Drive a truck with capacity up to three tons and usually six wheels to transport materials
- Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
- Prepare delivery schedule
- Deliver materials to locations designated by the customer
- Obtain customer’s signature for proof of delivery and help to unload truck
- Perform the duties of Warehouse Associate when not driving the truck and making deliveries

Education & Experience
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Must have a valid CDL License
- 2 years required of truck driving experience
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Vision - near, far, night
- Ability to detect or tell differences between sounds varying in pitch and loudness
- Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture) when it appears
