Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a qualified Engineer/HVAC Mechanic to support building operations **in Arlington, VA. ** This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform installation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of all HVAC equipment.
- Install, operate, maintain, inspect, adjust and repair building equipment such as chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, fans, pumps, motors, drives, filters, plumbing fixtures, induction units, VAV boxes, building control systems, dampers, meters, gauges, actuators, and related equipment. Boilers, their accessories, and appurtenances, all fired or unfired pressure vessels and vacuum systems. All refrigeration and air conditioning machines and their associated equipment, including maintenance and repair of cold storage spaces. All plumbing and piping, including water, gas, heating, and sanitation systems. All emergency power equipment.
Qualifications
• Must have 3 – 6 years’ experience as a Building Engineer in a commercial environment.
• DC Third Class or a Maryland First class license is preferred.
• Must possess current CFC Universal License.
• Must have EMS experience.
• Must be able to work any shift assigned.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to work safely.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must be willing to adhere to company policies.
• Must have U.S. Residency for the last 5 years.
Physical Demands
Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions. Must be willing to work any shift.
