Quality Supervisor - WARDFLEX

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for leading quality assurance activities across the manufacturing operation to ensure products meet established quality standards and customer requirements. This role supervises Quality Technicians, supports quality and environmental management systems, drives corrective actions, and partners with operations leadership to promote continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence.

How You Will Help

  • Supervise and support Quality Technicians, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, policies, and environmental management systems.
  • Monitor and verify product quality through inspections and testing activities.
  • Investigate, document, and report non-conformances and lead corrective action initiatives.
  • Maintain responsibility for the quality of finished products and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Review and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and management reports.
  • Analyze quality data, scrap trends, and process performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings focused on quality, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
  • Travel to customer and supplier locations as needed to support quality initiatives and issue resolution.
  • Generate reports and documentation for management review and quality system audits.
  • Support internal and external audit activities and maintain compliance with applicable quality standards

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum of two years of quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, auditing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Auditor training or experience with internal and external quality systems preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, airborne particles, and changing conditions.
