Construction Administrator

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Construction Administrator to join our team in Bossier City. This role supports our continued growth and offers the opportunity to work on (or support) meaningful projects alongside a collaborative, experienced team. You’ll have the chance to build your career while contributing to impactful solutions across the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitors Construction Projects.
  • Works closely with the Project Manager and Construction Discipline Manager in the development of project bid and construction documents.
  • Manages the bidding and selection process for all new construction projects.
  • Attends and participates in project status meetings with the Contractor, as required.
  • Reviews daily construction reports for accuracy and completeness (describing daily project activities, including pay item quantities and project progress).
  • Reviews monthly summary reports of construction activities.
  • Oversight of construction storm water management best practices in current designs and ongoing construction projects.
  • Management and quality control of all construction related documentation (Pay Requests, Change Orders, Supplemental Agreements, RFI’s, Submittals, etc.).
  • Management of all construction close-out documentation.

What you'll need

Requirements:
• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and construction experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Business management.
• Ten years of related experience.
