Per Diem, Days- Weekends in inpatient rehab, weekdays as needed
The Staff Physical Therapy Assistant is a licensed practitioner who provides direct patient treatment services as delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist. He/she carries out treatment program according to the plan of care in accordance with the facilities policies and procedures related to care and treatment of the patient; treats patients in order to produce effective outcomes; communicates and assists in resolving problems; demonstrates effective resource utilization that is critical to operational stability within the organization and participates in performance improvement and program growth.
EDUCATION:
Associate's Degree in Science or other education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Physical Therapy Assistant licensure.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience desired, but not required
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
- Florida license as a Physical Therapy Assistant from the Agency of Health
Care Administration’s Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
- Current AHA BLS CPR certification
