Also, this division delivers trauma-informed support to victims of offenders in the correctional system. Join the team responsible for building better tomorrows today!

Be part of something historic. The new Flathead Valley Reentry Center —the first DOC‑owned and operated prerelease center in Montana—is transforming the way we deliver structure, accountability, and opportunity for residents returning to their communities. We’re driving generational change at the Department of Corrections, and we're looking for mission‑driven professionals to help build the future of corrections in Montana.

The Community Support Specialist is a key frontline role that ensures the daily operations of the FVRC run safely, smoothly, and with resident success at the forefront. In this position, you will help create a structured, supportive environment that promotes positive reentry outcomes and community well‑being. • Perform routine room, facility and Resident Offender searches to ensure safety and compliance.

  • Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism and accuracy.

  • Staff the front desk and maintain a secure, welcoming reception area.

  • Support general facility operations and contribute to program objectives as needed.
