Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Perform radiographic exams on all patients as necessary. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

  • Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology
  • Technologist is required to properly perform all duties related to general interventional, vascular interventional and all neuro and neuro-vascular (stroke) studies performed in the department.
  • Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.
  • Performs basic to complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician
  • Responsible for assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications
  • Performs related duties as required

  • Required:

    • Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
    • Certifications:
    • BLS required
    • ARRT or registry eligible
      • Must have ARRT within one year post graduation
    • State license if required
  • Preferred:
    • Education: Associates degree
    • Experience: 1-3 years experience
