The Role: The Building Inspector performs building inspection work to assure compliance with the City's building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing codes, other city ordinances, and state and federal laws for the Building Safety Division in the Development Services Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a t wo years of college or vocational course work in building construction, drafting, engineering studies or a related field, and two years experience in building construction or building inspections.
