Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Little Rock, Arkansas that shapes the future by designing and building military aircraft, business jets and space systems. We are looking for experienced upholstery fabricators who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever- changing work environment!

The Upholstery Fabricator will fabricate, develop, build, sew, and cover aircraft all soft goods through the knowledge and skills of interior finishing.

Essential Functions:

• Perform sewing or upholstery operations of high quality and within budget.
• Disassemble and reassemble various models of vendor passenger seats.
• Perform maintenance such as proper glue application, adhesive bonding, hardware, and rivet installation.
• Style a variety of foams to meet specifications/customer requirements.
• Layout, match, cut, and sew various routine and non-routine sewing operations, including exotic fabrics such as plaids, stripes, diamond patterns and floral designs to produce symmetry in appearance.
• Develop patterns from prints, sketches, models, and verbal instructions.
• Inspect, select, and work with fabrics, leathers, foams, and other materials used in the performance of job assignments.
• Fabricate and upholster all soft goods including but not limited to aircraft seats (fabrication and cover), divans, service ledges, side walls, headliners, and window panels.
• Set up and operate all equipment, such as routers, sanders, sewing machines, etc.
