Job Summary:
Lead and supervise a hematology laboratory team to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient testing operations. This role drives day-to-day execution, supports staff development, advances process improvement, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supervise daily laboratory operations and guide the team to meet workload, quality, and turnaround expectations
- Set priorities, assign work, and monitor operational delivery across assigned laboratory work groups
- Support hiring, training, coaching, and performance management under the mentorship of management
- Oversee inventory, resource planning, and budget-aligned use of reagents and laboratory supplies
- Drive safety, quality, and compliance practices, including timely resolution of CAPA and quality incidents
- Partner with stakeholders to lead process improvement initiatives, evaluate vendor platforms, and strengthen laboratory performance metrics
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically requires >5 years in regulated environment; >4 years of experience in a relevant discipline laboratory
- In depth knowledge of clinical testing procedures and applicable laboratory testing regulations
- Working knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles, root cause analysis, and company-specific program requirements
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others while navigating operational and people-related challenges
- Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and competing demands
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations, study setup, cross-functional dependencies, and occupational safety requirements
- Applicable certifications and licenses as required by local regulations; Clinical Lab Scientist license preferred

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $58,800.00 - $122,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
