Client Service Representative - Swing/Overnight

Neel Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and customer-focused Swing/Overnight Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment and enjoys providing exceptional service to clients during evening and overnight hours.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting our doctors and technical staff in delivering outstanding patient care.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
- Process invoices payments
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
- Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
- Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
- Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
- Accurately input data into computer software

Qualifications
- Previous veterinary receptionist, veterinary client service, or veterinary hospital experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology is preferred.
- Comfortable using computers and veterinary practice management software.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during emergencies.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Must be available to work swing and/or overnight shifts , including weekends and holidays as needed.
