The Utility Locator / Dig Safe Technician is responsible for performing underground utility locating services for Town-owned infrastructure, including fiber, electric, sewer, water, and drainage systems. The employee performs field locates, utility marking, documentation, GIS updates, and emergency response work in all weather conditions. The position requires timely response to Dig Safe tickets in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and availability for after-hours and weekend emergency call-outs as required.
