Job Description:
The Advanced Manufacturing Manager leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of advanced manufacturing capabilities that enhance operational performance across the organization. This role drives innovation in manufacturing processes by integrating modern technologies, establishing global standards, and supporting scalable production systems. By partnering with engineering, operations, and crossfunctional teams, the position strengthens manufacturing readiness, improves efficiency and quality, and supports longterm business growth. The role serves as a technical expert and strategic leader in advancing organizational manufacturing maturity.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Develop and execute an advanced manufacturing strategy aligned with
organizational goals and operational readiness.
• Identify emerging technologies and capabilities that enhance manufacturing
competitiveness and productivity.
• Serve as a subjectmatter expert in key advanced manufacturing domains such
as automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, or datadriven production
systems.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of advanced manufacturing
technologies across production sites.
• Establish global manufacturing standards, best practices, and repeatable
processes to support consistent execution.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to design and optimize
scalable, highefficiency production systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, waste
reduction, and product quality.
• Conduct capability assessments and lead improvement roadmaps for global
sites.
• Guide manufacturing teams in the adoption of modern analytics, connected
systems, and predictive tools that improve decisionmaking.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to support
product launches and readiness planning.
• Manage crossfunctional projects, including timelines, budgets, and vendor
coordination.
• Track and report on key performance indicators, project milestones, and
return on investment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct
reports.
Job Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing,
Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline; 7+ years of experience in
manufacturing, process engineering, operations, or advanced technology roles;
or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an
equivalent background.
Preferred: Master’s degree or certification in advanced manufacturing or
automation; experience with quality systems, Lean, continuous improvement, and
statistical methodologies; certification such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

• Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, continuous
improvement, and process optimization.
• Ability to lead global projects and influence crossfunctional teams.
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse technical and
nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, highpressure
environment.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to guide
transformation initiatives.

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken form.

environments.

• Ability to travel globally as required (up to 30–50% depending on project
needs).
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. during
facility visits.
Work Environment:
• Work performed in a professional office environment with frequent visits to
manufacturing facilities.
• Exposure to seasonal temperature changes, noise, dust, and occasional
chemical fumes while on production floors.
• Compliance with all applicable safety policies and use of required personal
protective equipment.
• Requires periodic global travel to support manufacturing sites and project
implementation.
