Why El Paso

El Paso is one of the most consistently safe large cities in the United States, offering a quality of life that surprises and delights those who make the move. The region is rich with culture, outdoor adventure, and history — from the Franklin Mountains State Park and scenic desert trails to vibrant festivals, world-class Tex-Mex cuisine, and the cultural tapestry of a truly binational community. Families thrive here with access to Division I universities and respected private colleges, excellent neighborhoods, and an affordable cost of living that stretches a physician's salary further than most major metros. With more than 300 sunny days per year and no state income tax, El Paso is as rewarding outside the hospital as it is inside it.
