Commercial HVAC D2 S2 licensed Journeyman

Join a team that values your skills and helps you grow. Action Air is hiring an HVAC Journeyman (D2 or S2 license) with at least 2 years of experience to support our Construction team. This is a great opportunity for a technician looking to build their career while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems
  • Assist with diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
  • Communicate with dispatch on job progress and scheduling
  • Complete service reports and documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and professional appearance

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • D2 / S2 required.
  • 2+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems
  • Ability to use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Current OSHA License (in CT OSHA expires 5 years after issue)
  • EPA certification (or ability to obtain)
