Plans Examiner-Inspector I performs highly skilled technical work reviewing permit application documents or inspecting building construction, demolition, alterations, and repairs to determine code compliance within the BUILDING discipline. Reviews construction documents or performs inspections to ensure code compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Ensures compliance with ordinances, and laws; is self-sufficient and consistent in performing job duties. Regularly interacts with property owners, contractors, and the public. Provides a high level of customer service. The schedule for this full-time position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM....
