NOTE: Employees in these positions will be scheduled for not more than twenty- four (24) hours per week . A Juvenile Detention Officer (JDO) provides direct care to juveniles detained in the Muskegon County Juvenile Detention Center (MCJDC). JDO’s provide facility security through ongoing supervision of juveniles. An employee in this class instructs and supervises juveniles in vocational, academic, recreational, and daily personal hygiene activities and maintains accurate records of juvenile behavior.
