Fiscal Revenue Co-op Fall 2026

Position Summary

The fall co-op will assist the highway revenue department with the documentation and review of existing processes, assistance on audit workpaper preparation and review, and make recommendations on how to preserve institutional knowledge from impending retirees. This intern will also participate and make recommendations regarding the monumental shift in ERP systems, ideally helping fiscal senior management prepare our staff through change agent strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recording and review of existing process for highway logo sign billing, recording, and collections. Intern will record the existing process for posterity while making recommendations on how to improve this process.
  • Record and review the fiscal process of eminent domain takings, making improvement recommendations to management once the existing process is recorded.
  • Will assist in the entry of logo billing as part of recording the process to gain more insight on recommendations in improvements.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of audit workpapers with senior managers.
  • Observe and make recommendations surrounding the internal close/open processes.
  • Receive training in Massachusetts ERP system to gain useful experience in transaction entry and participate in meetings regarding the ERP system change-over.
  • Participate in internal fiscal Change Agent meetings to develop strategies on preparing managers for the ERP system migration.
