Role Overview

The Appian Developer will support the design, development, and maintenance of workflow automation solutions within the BOT Product Line. This role focuses on hands-on Appian development, delivering scalable solutions, and contributing to platform modernization while working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

What will you do in this role:

• Develop and support Appian applications using SAIL, process models, records, and integrations
• Translate business requirements into technical components and user stories
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and workflow challenges
• Contribute to reusable components, templates, and standard patterns
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and governance guidelines
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and engineering teams
• Support integrations with enterprise systems
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and solution discussions

What Should you have :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3 + years of Appian development experience
• Appian Level 1 Certification (Level 2 preferred)
• Working knowledge of: SAIL Process models Records & data modelling REST/SOAP integrations
• Experience in Agile teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workflow automation solutions
• Exposure to Appian Cloud, SQL, BPMN
• Basic knowledge of AWS or Azure
• Understanding of reusable components and shared development practices
• Strong learning mindset and ownership attitude
