  • Proactively monitor shifts in the APAC retail landscape and emerging trends to provide actionable insights that inform our Retail strategy and product development.

  • Represent Cboe at industry conferences, customer forums, and client events

Strategy & Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Education, Market Data and Legal teams to deliver broker onboarding and product launches

  • Work with Legal and Compliance on retail suitability, marketing standards, and cross-border distribution requirements across APAC jurisdictions

  • Monitor competitor activity, regulatory change, and retail trading trends in the region, and advise senior leadership

  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and account planning to senior management

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in derivatives sales, distribution, or business development within an exchange, broker, market maker, or financial technology firm

  • Proven track record selling to or partnering with retail brokers or retail-focused trading platforms in APAC

  • Strong working knowledge of listed derivatives, particularly options, and retail trading behavior

  • Established network across APAC retail brokerage and fintech ecosystems (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Korea, India, Southeast Asia)

  • Understanding of the regulatory environment for retail derivatives distribution across APAC (MAS familiarity strongly preferred)

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

  • Multilingual (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese) a plus

  • Familiar with technology, data and systems - Salesforce, Sigma and Business Intelligence reporting tools

Success Measures (first 12-18 months)
