Canine Country Club and Wellness Center is looking for a full-time kennel
technician to join our team.
We are a boarding, grooming and wellness center located in Dallas, TX. We
offer a training and a career path to become a veterinary
technician/assistant.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
A kennel technician provides daily care, feeding, grooming and exercise of
boarding and grooming pets. The kennel technician interacts with clients in-
person and sometimes over the phone. Our team members must pay close attention
to details, understand and follow proper feeding and sanitation procedures,
bathe pets of all sizes, monitor boarding guests, administer medications,
assist during
exams, and so much more.
This position is fast-paced, high-energy, and requires an individual to be
comfortable on their feet for a majority of the day.
What You'll Bring:
- Must have previous animal care experience.
- A sense of fun and teamwork – Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply.
- Dependable and able to work independently.
- The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease.
- A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets.
- References, background checks, and drug testing are required.

Able to lift patients and carry equipment up to 50 pounds; ability
to lift guests or carry equipment over 50 pounds with assistance. -
Endure sitting, standing and walking on hard floor surfaces for
extended periods of time. -
Take safety precautions for exposure to toxins, drugs, anesthesia
and radiation.
