Drive the revenue stream by balancing the right mix of products and services, following the traditional strategy of selling at the right price, at the right time, to the right customer, at the right time, using the right distribution network. Lead the reservations team of the property to make sure the strategies and high quality of services are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving and maximizing overall revenue through the implementation of effective strategies for inventory and pricing based on demand and competitor analysis in order to gain market share.
- Drives Market Share and Revenue Performance, ensure Rate Parity on all channels.
- Develops overall pricing strategy together with the Director of Sales and Markerting and the General Manager including all market segments and distribution channels.
- Effectively manages and control the inventory of the hotel.
- Takes responsibility for effective implementation and compliance with Kempinski Revenue Management standards and initiatives.
- Ensures all online travel agents, content, reputation and distribution channels are optimized.
- Shares best Revenue Management practices and key learning with peers and management.
- Plays a leader role on the property’s weekly Revenue Management meetings and daily morning briefings.
- Produces accurate forecasts on weekly and monthly basis (+/-5%) and advices the sales team and General Manager.
- Recruits, trains and mentors the Reservations Manager and a strong an Assistant Reservations Manager/Supervisor to make sure the Reservations team functions properly.
- Assists in developing a career path for direct reports.
