Founding ETF Generalist

at Corgi Insurance

About Us

We are one of the nation’s fastest-growing B2B startups, backed by YC, building the next generation of financial infrastructure. Our next chapter is launching a new ETF business focused on designing and managing our own ETFs, built to be faster to launch, smarter to manage, and more transparent for investors.

We’re looking for an early, high-ownership generalist to help us take this ETF business from 0→1, covering everything from research and filings to portfolio construction and market delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with the founders on ETF research, development, and launch strategy.

• Coordinate with legal teams, custodians, and index partners to bring funds to market.

• Develop scalable internal systems and AI-enhanced modeling for portfolio optimization.

• Conduct market research, backtesting, and risk/return analysis for new ETF products.

• Help shape the operational, analytical, and product foundations of the ETF business.

Who You Are

• Background in consulting, investment banking, sales and trading, or ETF- related fields.

• Strong analytical and quantitative foundation in finance, math, or economics.

• Thrives in fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environments.

• Comfortable switching between strategy and hands-on execution.

• Excited about applying AI and modern data infrastructure to ETF design and management.

Nice to Have

• Experience in ETF backtesting, indexing, or fund operations.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $200,000
  • Bonus: 20% – 50% of base
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 – $300,000
