Environmental Administrative Assistant

Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for an Environmental Administrative Assistant to assist with our projects in Lansing, MI!
Candidates for this position will be working in a collaborative team environment embedded at a client's office location supporting environmental programs throughout the state of Michigan. This opening supports the mail processing team , which is responsible for receiving, sorting, scanning, and digitally processing incoming paper mail to ensure documents are accurately routed and available within digital records systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare paper documents for scanning and electronic processing.
- Scan and upload documents into the appropriate electronic records management system.
- Review scanned documents for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
- Organize and maintain electronic files and records.
- Assist with document control and information management activities.
- Perform copying, filing, and other administrative support tasks as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced professional office environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with electronic document management systems.
- Previous experience with document scanning, mail processing, records management, or administrative support is preferred.
