About the Position:

This role is an on-campus, in-person position.

This is an entry-level position. The position performs manual work and both unskilled and semi-skilled tasks that are of a physically demanding nature.

Work involves, but is not limited to the performance of duties, which are of a routine nature and are performed with some degree of independence. Tasks include but are not limited to: general requests for service with a special emphasis on asset moves and event assistance, refuse/recycling collection, snow/ice removal, pressure washering, and routine pickups, and delivery tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive trucks, up to 3-tons, for hauling recycle/refuse, personnel, equipment and materials.

  • Unload and move materials, supplies, furniture, and equipment.

  • Operate tractors, forklifts, and other light equipment.

  • Perform related work as required.

  • Inspect, schedule and perform Pressure-washing as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must be able & willing to work longer hours for emergencies & to meet deadlines.

  • Evening & weekend work for scheduled work & emergency response is required.

  • Shift flex is required for evenings & weekends.

  • Schedules may be adjusted to accommodate coverage.
