Summary:
Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) is seeking a Logistics Engineer to join our growing team in Gilbert, AZ. The Logistics Engineer is responsible for the integration of logistics support functions such as managing Field Engineering support, identifying requirements for spare and repair parts, warranty administration, managing and coordinating training activities, and supporting completion of all maintenance functions.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead Logistics planning, sustainment strategies, and risk management.

• Experience with developing, evaluating, and managing logistics related program risks.
• Manage and perform all logistics for geographically separated operating locations.
• Support the completion of the Project needs including but not limited to: Leading Spares Provisioning conference with customer, determining and maintaining proper level of spares, managing field repairs and returns, maintaining Field Reliability records, Coordinating Training resources per the contract, and managing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE)
• Must structure a framework to administer vendor and Prime contractor field repairs and returns per the terms of the contract and its warranty provisions.
• Develops Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) predictions.
• Responsible to coordinate and administer activities of Field Engineering CONUS and OCONUS including but not limited to: communication to the FSR and management of deployment compensation procedures consistent with both customer contract requirements and company policy, safety and security provisions for employees deployed OCONUS, identify and deliver tooling and training necessary for company FSR deployment.
• Ensures on-time delivery of support (i.e., transportation, supplies, vehicles, and equipment)
• Prepare periodic and scheduled reports and delegate the implementation of project logistics procedures.
• Prepares and maintains maintenance, and operational records.
• Ensures that all shipments and receipt of equipment and materials for the project are properly documented.
• Assists in the planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive logistics program plan
• Provide updates to the Project Manager, PMO staff, and Management team as required

  • Supports system architecture development with logistics considerations..
  • Defines logistics requirements for new system development program
  • Provides logistics support and maintains logistics systems/ database
  • Performs logistics engineering analysis to support system design and lifecycle sustainment
  • Performs Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis and modeling.
  • Conducts failure analysis and root cause analysis (FMEA/FMECA).

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science

  • 10 years Logistics experience
  • 7 + years CLS/ILSS systems
    • Must have been in overseas logistics management
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Must have a valid US Passport and must have a current US driver's license.
    • If prior US Military, must have an honorable discharge
    • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation and possess the criteria to be awarded and maintain the necessary US-issued security clearance
    • Ability to travel to, and/or work in, an austere, hostile, or remote location.
    • Must be a US citizen.
    • Must be able to travel -25%
    • HS Diploma
    • 7+ years system testing

Physical Demands & Work Environment
• Work is typically performed in an office setting.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, kneel, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
• Must have the ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
